What is Snap?
Sn-ap is on-demand Intercity coach travel.
You tell us where and when you want to go and we match you up with others who want to make similar journeys, all for pocket-money prices.
How do I book a trip?
Pick your starting point, destination, date and time of travel and we’ll show you the best available options.
When you’ve found a trip to suit you, use the arrows by the stop names to pick the most convenient pick and drop off point for you.
Add the trip to your basket and choose a return trip if needed.
Continue to payment and complete your booking!
What happens after I’ve booked?
You’ll get an email from one of our trip builders, confirming all the arrangements and giving you the precise location of the pick-up and drop-off points and the times you need to be there.
If your confirmation email has not arrived, it is a good idea to check your “spam” or “junk” filter. They sometimes get stuck there. You can prevent this from happening by adding email@example.com to your address book.
On the day of travel, you’ll receive a text message with a link that allows you to track the position of your coach, using our website, so you’ll always know precisely where your coach is on its journey.
Why aren’t there any pick ups near me?
Snap is a young, growing company so only a few people in a few places know about us so far. You can help us run coaches to and from your area by telling all your family and friends about us.
How does Snap keep its prices so low?
Sn-ap isn’t a coach company. Which is a good start. We don’t have fleets of coaches and depots up and down the country. Those things cost a LOT of money. What we do is match you with the very best, brightest (and nearest!) coach company out there. There are lots of really good coach companies. We only choose the best, and we only run the coach when enough people want to make a similar trip. Which means we can (almost) always deliver a keener price to you.
We believe Sn-ap is THE best value around. So we have a Price Match Guarantee. That means, if you can find an un-discounted, equivalent trip (that means same trip, same day, same time) for less than you paid for your Sn-ap trip, we’ll happily refund the difference.

What should I expect on board?
A seriously comfy seat, a super friendly driver and a big window: all wrapped in a shiny, new high-tech coach (and bags of room for your luggage). In fact, if you’ve not been on a coach for a while, you’ll be amazed how much they’ve changed. Seat design, suspension, air conditioning and (yes!) toilet design have all improved dramatically in recent years. And, as we offer Snap trips to coach companies by order of customer star rating, we get the absolute cream of the crop on our services.
What can I bring on board?
One of the joys of travelling by coach is luggage space. We let each passenger take two suitcases, stowed in the hold, in addition to their hand luggage. Please don’t bring heavy or outsize items with you though (Someone showed up with a – used – washing machine once, all wet and dripping. We had to leave them behind). Sn-ap is a passenger transportation concept only!
Folding bikes are normally ok, if they are luggage-sized, but please let us know in advance as some coaches, like double-deckers, have more limited luggage compartments.
Please ensure that folding bikes are always put in a bag or case so that they don’t affect other customers luggage.
No Hot Food Please! – All our coaches are Air Conditioned. Out of consideration for your fellow passengers, please do not bring any hot or smelly food on board.
Why is coach travel best for the environment?
Coach is by far the most environmental way to travel, with a lower carbon footprint, per passenger, than cars or trains. As we only use the newest, and best coaches that exist – they also have the most up to date, efficient engines.
It’s good for congestion too. Every full coach removes the need for nearly 30 cars. And takes up less space on the road
